I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Accountancy at the Gies College of Business, University of Illinois Urbana–Champaign. I received my Ph.D. in Accounting from the University of Connecticut in 2025, where I was a Deloitte Foundation Doctoral Fellow. I also hold a Master of Accounting from the University of Michigan and a B.M. in Accounting and LL.B. from Sun Yat-sen University.

My research examines regulatory scrutiny, capital markets, mandatory and voluntary disclosure, public finance, and information intermediaries.
